The Renogy Battery Monitor is designed to monitor the performance of most battery types. Its high-precision measurements will eliminate the guesswork from battery usage and enhance your battery bank's performance and lifespan.

It is a universal battery monitor that you can use with voltage ranging from 10V to 120V and up to 500A.

LOW POWER CONSUMPTION DESIGN

The backlight will automatically shut down when the charging current is ＜100mA and only 1 mA Standby Dissipation. This battery monitor is equipped with data storage capacity. It automatically saves the last testing data when its power is off.

PROTECT YOUR BATTERY

This monitor gives you high precision current detection and accurate battery state of charge. You can also set an alarm for high or low current voltage. When the alarm is activated, the backlight and voltage value will be shown on the screen to alert you on what to do when you reach the cut-off voltage.

EASY TO INSTALL

The package includes the LCD interface, 500A shunt, transparent shunt holder, 20 ft shielded wire, and B+ wire. The shunt holder makes it very convenient to mount the shunt while the long shielded wire allows you to monitor the status of your battery from a distance.

NOTE

The Renogy Battery Monitor can't be exposed to the sun for a long time or in the environment with large amounts of ultraviolet radiation when using or storing in winter (＜ -10℃) and summer (＞60℃) otherwise, the life span of the LCD will be shortened.

1. Is there a purpose to having both the Renogy 500A Battery Monitor and the Bluetooth Module?

The Battery Monitor is a good idea for anyone without a smartphone or who doesn’t mind staying close to their system to keep tabs. This monitor can also work with all sorts of other battery applications, such as golf carts, electric scooters, medical devices, etc.

The Bluetooth Module caters to anyone with a smartphone or tablet and those who want a bit more freedom in keeping tabs on their system.

Renogy LifePO4 Battery has an RJ45 communication port connected with BT-2 and monitors the battery data directly from the APP.

Lead-acid battery has no communication port, and the Bluetooth module detects battery data from the charge controller.
